Welcome to Bright Courage, where our passion for candle making is ignited by a deeper purpose. We are a family-run business with a rich history in the world of artisanal candles. Formerly known as Soy Clever Candle Company, we have embarked on a new journey as Bright Courage, inspired by the next generation of our family and fueled by a desire to give back to the community, by donating at least 10% of sales to heart warriors. 

Our story is one of resilience, love, and a commitment to making a difference. After years of operating Soy Clever Candle Company, we passed the torch to our children, who are now working diligently to rekindle the passion for candle making that has been a part of our family since 2017. Bright Courage is not just a business; it is a mission. A mission to create beautiful, eco-friendly candles while supporting heart warriors who hold a special place in our hearts.

One charity that is particularly close to our hearts is the UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh CICU, where our youngest son is treated for Ebstein's Anomaly, a rare congenital heart disease. The care and support we received during that challenging time were unparalleled, and it inspired us to find a way to give back. A portion of every Bright Courage purchase goes directly to  heart warriors and the UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh CICU, contributing to the incredible work they do every day.

Our candles are handcrafted with the utmost care and attention to detail, using only the highest quality, eco-friendly materials. Paraffin-free and phthalate-free, our candles not only illuminate your space but also contribute to a healthier environment.
